Federal Student Aid utilizes OpenFISMA as an integral part of their IT risk management program. FSA has provided much of the resources and guidance that has brought OpenFISMA to where it is today.

FDIC is using OpenFISMA for their Infosec Risk Management Program.

Department of Education (DoED)

The Department of Education is using OpenFISMA as the system of record for Information Security POA&Ms, vulnerability management, risk analysis, and Incident Reporting.
